So this is just a couple shots of what we did end up doing before the rain started. Not much, so hopefully the crowd doubles and the rain stays away September 11. A couple weeks back we ran a small competition, put on by the City of Steinbach called Shred in the City. Day turned out to be pretty rad, prizes ended up working out even though all we had were towels and gift cards,

The last day, we left Regina around 1:00pm, a little later than planned, didnt ride the park cause everyone but 2 were pretty tired and eager to get home, plus we had a little over 9 hours ahead of us. The last stretch was a lot of sleeping and chilling out, talking, having good times jammin to music.

There was a tree on the side of the road we stopped at to take a leak, not on the tree, but the side of the road. Anyway we started climbing the tree and there was a bunch of goodies in it, like a nice pair of Puma shoes, some ornamental balls and various other stuff, so we added another pair of shoes to the tree before carrying on. All in all we had a fantastic trip, lots of good conversations, good riding, and good service to others. Met a lot of cool people. Thanks to everyone who supported us financially, prayerfully, or let your children participate, and to our Father in Heaven who came up with the idea and help pull it all together and kept us safe.

Today was the start of our heading back home. We said our goodbyes to the Med Hat Skate Crew. Rode the indoor park a little bit, ate breakfast, cleaned up and headed on our way.

Of course we needed a photo of all of us, so here we have a picture of everyone with Central the Indoor Skatepark Ministry in Medicine Hat, AB. behind us, along with a train, and some mountainous hills.

On our way from the Hat to Regina we hit up a slightly creepy town called Mortlache, there was virtually no one around, and anyone that was gave you the creepy “what are you doing here” stare!!! I seriously had to go to the washroom, and found a random outhouse in the middle of the town, cause it didnt look like any restaurants or stores were open. As i was sitting inside little Rob decided he would throw little noisecracker bombs into the porta-john while i was sitting, i caught on and started catching them, so i had a little stash to throw at him after i got out, followed by a wedgie!!! While in Mortlache we found this random sign to stick your head through…

Thanks to the Streets Alive ministry, they seriously helped us out with food, almost the entire day was filled with food from their ministry. In the morning we attended their church service, the same place where we laid our heads was where the service went down, then we helped them feed the homeless congregation and chatted amongst the people.

After the service and cleanup at Streets Alive, we headed out to Taber, a 30min drive back East to hit up their new skatepark, which rocked. We got a lot of good footage. During our time in Taber a crew of 3 bmxers from Saskatchewan showed up and annialated the entire park!!! Flairs, tailwhips, barspins, etc. to say the least!!! Make sure to keep updated as this footage will be released soon. Turns out me and kevin had checked these guys videos out the week before the trip, that was weird. Check them here.

Day 5 we were supposed to be in Lethbridge, AB by noon, but that was not happening, i believe i remember looking at the clock that morning an still was awake around 5am!!! When your with 10 young guys, its really hard to get everyone to bed on time. So i had to call dwayne and tell him we would be 4 hours late. We finally got out of Central and headed down the #1, shortly realizing via a phone call from Dwayne, that Lethbridge is off the #3 highway, so we were going the wrong way!!! We finally made it Lethbridge, met Dwayne and got settled into the Street’s Alive Church.

After our service at Streets Alive we headed out to the Lethbridge Skatepark, an old memory for Kyle & Kevin from 5+ years ago. Needless to say the park was a bit too windy and we ended up only spending an hour or so there. So we went for a little street riding session, then went back to Streets Alive and ordered Pizza and played poker with monopoly money!

Day 4 for us was pretty chill, we had the whole day to be in the Hat, to ride the outdoor or indoor parks. We woke up a little later than usual, as you can see most of our sleeping arrangements was floors, here it was hardwood, nice enough to sleep on though, in a huge dance studio room.

Upstairs in the Cafe we had breakfast, and then rode the indoor park for a little while. After that we headed out to the local shop, they had shoes on sale for as low as $25, so we took advantage of that.

It started raining so we ended up just going back to Central the place where we stay and rode the indoor park.
